Thinknum's "Car Inventory" dataset tracks the inventory of all major online dealerships. Since each vehicle has a unique identification number, users are able to see when a vehicle is added or removed from a dealerships inventory. Tracking the number of vehicles leaving inventory allows users to predict sales figures.

Utilize the Sales Analysis tool to see which cars have been sold. The number of "Lookahead Days" represents the number of days in the future that will be checked to see if the same VIN returns to the dealer's inventory.

Let's take CarMax as an example. Simply use the preset dropdown and choose accordingly.

Click the Lookahead days tab to customize.

Switch to Chart view to analyze the time series.
